HOW DOES IT WORK?

YOU ARRIVE AT THE STARTING LOCATION AT YOUR CHOSEN TIME (12PM OR 3PM). WE'LL CHECK YOUR TICKETS, REGISTER YOUR TEAM NAME AND GIVE YOU AN INTRODUCTION TO THE MURDER MYSTERY.

ONCE YOU LEAVE THE STARTING LOCATION, YOU HAVE 2 HOURS TO EXPLORE THE AREA GATHERING EVIDENCE, SOLVING PUZZLES AND INTERACTING WITH CHARACTERS. DON'T PANIC - YOU DON'T HAVE TO BE A TRAINED DETECTIVE AT THE START - WE'LL GIVE YOU SOME LEADS TO BEGIN YOUR ENQUIRIES.

WHEN TIME IS UP, YOU HEAD TO THE FINISH LOCATION WHERE YOU'LL HAVE THE CHANCE TO REVEAL THE TRUTH TO THE AUTHORITIES - AND THEY'LL LET YOU KNOW IF YOU’VE CRACKED IT.

the story

Cashing in on Reading's history with a Casino on the site of the
Abbey Ruins was Jack Diamond's ace card. But police suspect
that it was foul play that caused him to cash out for good.

A lock-up has been broken into, suspicious characters ask to meet
with you urgently - and despite the Casino plans being stopped,
there's something that someone is desperately trying to hide.

The stakes are high as you race around Reading to catch
the culprit, gathering evidence and discovering
hidden clues as you gamble with death.

A Gamble With Death is a timed murder mystery treasure hunt that sends teams of intrepid detectives around the
streets of Reading, allowing players to discover hidden
secrets and crack the case in an intriguing new way.
